VERY NICE VICTORIAN ERA PERSONAL LEATHER CASED BAROMETER. IT HAS A NICE MINT DIAL. AND IS IN VERY GOOD CONDITION EXCEPT FOR WORN GOLD PLATING ON THE RING AND SOME NORMAL USE LIGHT SCRATCHES ON THE BACK. THE DIAL IS 2 3/8" OR 6MM. IT IS 3 5/8" TALL AND ABOUT 1" THICK.

This is another Victorian Match Holder from my collection. This one is a double, meaning one side would have held the unused matches to light the fire or the coal oil lamp, the other side would have held the used matches.

I have a small collection of Victorian Match Holders. This is one of my favourites. They were meant to be hung near the fireplace or a coal oil lamp so that matches could be easily found and use to light the fire or the lamp.

Victorian Match Holders are much fancier and more ornate than advertising match holders and are much harder to find

Star Coffee Mill No. 7 with 15" wheels.

This Star Coffee Mill has a replacment eagle which I purchased separately and the original blue and gold paint on the wheels has been painted over with red.

It has the Henry Troemner name and the three Coles patent date is Aug. 19, 1884, Nov. 25, 1884 and May 26, 1885

This Coffee Mill has 24 3/4" wheels. The Wheels are stencilled. The eagle is not original but still looks appropriate. Emobssed on the front of the grinding section is "Pat. July 12.98"

Coles No. 7 Coffee Mill

This Coffee Mill was patented Dec. 27 1887. It has double 16" wheels and the original red paint. It is 27" high. and is one of the Coles Manufacturing Co. mills from Philadelphia Pennsylvania

I got this at an auction for a reasonable price as the tin Catch Can is missing. I have since found a place that will make a duplicate of the original catch can. This Coffee Mill joins my growing collection

Victorian Silver Plated Tankard

This is one of my favourite antiques in my collection. It is a Victorian Water Tankard. It sits on a stand and swings in its cradle so that the lady of the house can pour the liquid into the goblet resting on the cup stand. These are difficult to find with the matching goblet.

In fact I found this in pieces in an antique store in Massachusetts. It was in the back room, buried in a pile of junk. My husband assured me he could repair it so I bought it at an incredible bargain price! It adds to my collection of 13 Victorian Silver or Silver-plated tankards or coffee pots.

Combination Barometer, Compass and Thermometer made by Cam-LaFontaine-Hazebroucq, Paris, France

This is a combination Barometer, Compass and Thermometer made by Cam-LaFontaine-Hazebroucq, Paris, France. In its original case. Circa turn of the century. The barometer is on one side, and the compass and thermometer are on the other side. The case is leather, with green velvet on one side, and green satin on the other. The size is 2 1/8” in diameter, and 7/8” thick.

Jaeger Barometer

Art deco barometer and thermometer made in France by Jaeger. The instrument dials are located between two pieces of beveled glass held together by a 22 ct plated rim. Settings can be adjusted to the altitude of the residing location. It features three concentric graduations: atmospheric pressure 27-1/2 to 32-1/2 inches/Hg; 930 to 1100 millibars; -100 to 5000 feet elevation. The thermometer in the bottom portion is graduated from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Height 7”. Diameter 6-3/4”.

Waterbury Mantle Clock

Very unique 1800's Waterbury Mantle Clock in working condition and it's decorated with a carved traditional Chinese panels and matching hardware, fantastic detail and color(please see photo's). It's made of dark cherry wood and measures 16"W by 10"H by 6"D and it weighs 9-3/4 lbs., the movement is marked with a Star over WATERBURY CLOCK CO., Waterbury, Conn., Patented 1881.

Distinguished, attractive and functional, this circa 1955 golfer-themed barometer is perfect as a gift and conversation piece. Manufatured by Taylor Instruments, of Rochester, New York.

Antique pocket barometer in it's original leather case made by Taylor Instrument Companies of Rochester NY, probably in the very early twentieth Century. It is marked "E.D. No. 4128", which may be a model number. This is the heaviest early pocket barometer I have ever felt. It weighs in at nearly 1 lb., or 435 grams outside of it's case. The heavy glass crystal is beveled. The outer dial is adjustable using the crown on the top. It measures 3" wide by 3 5/8" long, counting the crown by 1 3/8" thick.

Testrite Weather Forecaster. This barometer was made in Germany and is copyrighted 1930. The lovely dark cherry colored wood carries the brass mounting ring and lovely lends over the blue steel 3 arm indicator and adjustable brass recording marker.

WWII submarine barometer-manometer. These ranged up to 37 inches of mercury, mainly because BEFORE a dive, the interior of the sub was slightly pressurized, to ensure that valves, hatches, and of course any bullet holes were sealed off. A leak in a diving Submarine could be fatal.These were mounted prominently BETWEEN the two"PLANESMANS" stations, as these crewmembers could cancel a dive if this instrument did not show a pressure build up in the hull.
