This is a combination Barometer, Compass and Thermometer made by Cam-LaFontaine-Hazebroucq, Paris, France. In its original case. Circa turn of the century. The barometer is on one side, and the compass and thermometer are on the other side. The case is leather, with green velvet on one side, and green satin on the other. The size is 2 1/8” in diameter, and 7/8” thick.

Jaeger Barometer


Art deco barometer and thermometer made in France by Jaeger. The instrument dials are located between two pieces of beveled glass held together by a 22 ct plated rim. Settings can be adjusted to the altitude of the residing location. It features three concentric graduations: atmospheric pressure 27-1/2 to 32-1/2 inches/Hg; 930 to 1100 millibars; -100 to 5000 feet elevation. The thermometer in the bottom portion is graduated from 0 to 120 degrees Fahrenheit. Height 7”. Diameter 6-3/4”.
