Victorian Match HolderI have a small collection of Victorian Match Holders. This is one of my favourites. They were meant to be hung near the fireplace or a coal oil lamp so that matches could be easily found and use to light the fire or the lamp.
Victorian Match Holders are much fancier and more ornate than advertising match holders and are much harder to find
